According to Shelby S. Singleton in 1978 he planned to release the LP 1955 Sun days featuring songs recorded at Sun Records by Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis Roy Orbison, Carl Perkins, Charlie Rich and Elvis.
In an interview with Shelby Singleton, which I did with him in March 1981, he stated he had enough unreleased Elvis songs for 5 LP's but the legal problem was that according to him RCA-Victor, who bought Elvis' Sun Records contract in november 1955, had the rights to finished masters only, while RCA-Victor claimed they have the rights to any Elvis recording done at Sun Records.
