In
an attempt to give Elvis songs a modern country music sound, Felton
Jarvis experimented by copying only Elvis’ voice to a tape and then
have top musicians provide a new backing.
The
result is the Guitar man LP
on which some songs sound better, but other songs sound weaker than
the original.
The
date stated is the original recording date of Elvis’ vocals.
